Fatal Accident.

On Monday evening a team, attached to a wagon from which a load of hay had just been taken, took fright and attempted to run away. An Irishman, whose full name we have been unable to learn, but whose surname is Peter, sprang to catch the horses by the bits, but missed his grasp, was knocked down and so seriously injured as to cause his death the next day at 12 o'clock. The now thoroughly frightened team rushed away, knocking a single horse down and committing sundry other damages.
