DIED.

January 20, 1867, Vira Bell youngest Daughter of John & Rachel Sherman aged 14 months and 10 days.

Sleep on, darling take thy rest
Folded to the Saviour's breast,
No more pain and sickness now
A precious gem on the Saviour's brow.

Your sufferings past, and pain is o'er,
You've gained that peaceful, happy shore,
Midst fields and groves and cooling shade
and flowers and blooom and never fade.

Your soul has passed the golden gate,
And there you've met your angel mates
With golden harps together stand,
And sing God's praises hand in hand.

Darling Vira, take thy rest,
God call those whom he loves best,
His wondrous love no one can tell,
Sainted Vira fare you well.

A spirit voice, I seem to hear
Mourn not for me, my parents dear,
Prepare to meet me on that shore
Where we shall meet to part no more.
