AGED WOMAN DIED AT ROLAND

MRS. HERMAN KNUDTSON PASSED AWAY--FUNERAL SET FOR MONDY.

Special to the Journal.
Roland, March 20--Mrs. Herman Knudtson, 82, died at her home here Thursday evening from heart trouble and other complications incident to old age.

There will be services held at the home Monday morning at 10:00 in charge of Rev. Holen, after which the body will be taken to Forest City for the funeral and interment by the side of a daughter who died about 22 years ago.

She leaves besides her husband, a son Knudt Knudtson of Forest City and a daughter Mrs. Thomas Hagen of Lake Mills.

She was married to Mr. Knudtson in Norway in 1886 and they came to America three years later. They remained in Roland, for but a short time when they moved to Forest City, where they made their home for 30 years. They then returned to Roland and have here for about 12 years.
