HENRY JACOBS OF MILFORD, DEAD
HAD BEEN RESIDENT OF NEIGHBORHOOD FOR MANY YEARS--WIFE IS DEAD
Henry Jacobs, 80, pioneer of the extreme northwest corner of Milford township, died at his hoe today after an illness covering over a period of nearly three months.
Mr. Jacobs, who had lived in the neighborhood for many years was well known for over the entire northwest part of the county.
Mrs. Jacogs has been dead for about nine years since which time the bachelor son Oliver, had lived at home with the father and during the illness his daughter Mrs. Ida Hondred and Husband Lars Hondred, had been in the home and assisted in his care.
Besides these children he leaves a son Martin Jacobs of Story City, Mrs. Lora Doolittle and Mrs. Bertha Johnson of the Story City neighborhood, as well as 12 grandchildren.
Details reagarding the funeral had not been determined at noon today.
