SUDDEN DEATH OF ROY FRICK

BROTHER-IN-LAW OF NEVADA MAN AND WAS KNOWN IN THE COUNTY

Roy Frick, age about 35 years, died at a hospital at Sioux City at an early hour today, according the word received by Clarence Morfoot, of 732 J avenue, Nevada, a brother-in-law of the deceased.

Mr. Frick, whose home is in Des Moines, was taken ill about a week ago, while on a hunting trip with Mr. Morfoot and Lowell Harris of Nevada and Roscoe Gossett, another brother-in-law, whose home is at Mapleton.

He was taken to the home of sister at Mapleton, where he spent a day or so, and was then removed to a Sioux City hospital.

A surgical operation yesterday developed a tumor on the brain which they were unable to remove and he died this morning about 2:30.

Mr. Morfoot went to Sioux City after the body, and it will be brought back to Ames where the funeral will be held and interment made in the family lot.

He leaves besides an invalid wife, a little son, Carrol, who lived for time in the Morfoot home here, his mother, Mrs. Arch Frick of Ames, a brother, Lyman Frick of Des Moines and the sister, Mrs. Roscoe Gossett of Mapleton.
