ROLAND MAN DIED SUNDAY EVENING

FUNERAL OF OLIVER COLE TO BE HELD AT ROLAND WEDNESDAY

Roland, June 9--Oliver Cole, 62, died at his home here Sunday evening at 6:30 from the effects of cancer of the throat, from which he had been a sufferer since last fall.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon. There will be short services at the home at 1:30 and the funeral proper at Bergen church at 2:00, by Rev. Sumstadt. Interment will be in the Roland cemetery.

Mr. Cole was born on the Colo homestead north of Roland and has spent all his life either near or in Roland. Of later years he had lived in Roland and had been identified with various lines of business.

He leaves his wife and six children. The children are Norval, Irene, Amil, Herbert, Phillip and Helen. Amil is in Nevaa, Herbert at Forest City and the others in Roland.

He also leaves six brothers and one sister. They are Henry, Oscar and I. M. Cole of Roland, Enoch A. Cole of Kenosha, Wis., Lewis Cole of Canada, and Alfred Cole of Chicago. The only sister, Miss Inger Cole is in Chicago.

One brother, George Cole, is dead.
