Sam L. Akin Died in Des Moines Hospital

Special to the Journal.
Ames, June 7--Sam L. Akin, 76, for over forty years a resident of this part of the county, died Friday morning at the Iowa Methodist hospital in Des Moines. Complications incident to his advanced age were the cause of his death. Mr. Akin leaves his wife, two sons and three daughters. The daughters are Mrs. W. L. Allan, Mrs. T. C. Fletter and Mrs. F. E. Nolan of Des Moines. The two sons are C. W. Akin of Atlantic and F. O. Akin of Corning.
