MRS. L. E. WHITE DIED EARLY TODAY

LONG-TIME RESIDENT OF NEVADA PASSED AWAY AT HOME ON NINTH ST.

Mrs. L. E. White, 75, died at her home 720 Ninth street at 5:30 a.m. today of heart complications following an illness of about four weeks. While she had been ill during the winter her condition just previous to her final illness appeared to be better than it had been for some time.

The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:00, after which the interment will be in the Nevada cemetery.

The casket will be open at the home between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 a. m. Friday, for the benefit of friends who may wish to view the body. The casket will not be opened during the hour of the funeral service.

Mrs. Whie had been a resident of Nevada for well over a half century and had been active in club and social affairs of the city during her younger days.

She leaves besides her husband Lyman E. White, two sons and four daughters. The children are Charles of Seattle, Washington, Mrs. Olive Crabb of Fairfield, Nelle White at home, Warren White of Montgomery, Alabama, Mrs. Lois Belden of Long Island, N. Y., and Miss Zella White of Sioux City.

The elder son Charles, whose home is in Seattle had been here last summer and visited with the parents, while Mrs. Belden of New York and Warren of Alabama have been here during the past weeks and left for their homes but a day or so ago.

Mrs. White came from a family of Episcolpalians but during her long residence in Nevada had been associated with the Methodist Episcopal church where she had been a regular attendant.
