OLIVE TOMS HAD BEEN THERE FOR BUT A VERY FEW DAYS
Miss Olive Toms of 315 H avenue, Nevada, died at 8:15 a. m. to day, at the state tubercular sanitarium at Oakdale, near Iowa City, where she was taken Tuesday of this week for care and treatment.
Miss Toms was the only daughter of William H. Toms, Civil war veteran of Nevada and leaves besides her father, a brother Mack H. Toms of West Lincoln Way, Grant township.
Miss Toms had been a sufferer from tuberculosis for some time but it was not until a few days ago that she consented to go to the state sanitarium for care.
F. O. Bishop, mortician, will drive to Iowa City late today and bring the body back to Nevada, where the funeral service will be held, probably on Tuesday, although the place and hour have not been definitely determined at this time.
