FORMER STORY COUNTY MAN DEAD

E. F. MOSER, 79, DIED AT HOME OF DAUGHTER IN INDIANA

E. F. Moserm 79, former Story county resident passed away at the home of his daughter at Sellersburg, Indiana, Feb. 1, according to a message received by Nevada friends. During their residence in Story county the Mosers lived in the Hickory Grove neighborhood at Ontario and on the J. W. Cook farm northeast of Nevada. They left here about fifteen years ago and have divided their time between their son John of Polo, Illinois and daughter Edith Hogan of Sellersburg, Indiana.

Elias Freeman Moser was born at Uniontown,
Pennsylvania, June 3, 1850 and passed away at the home of his daughter at Sellersburg, Indiana on Feb. 1 at 6:15 a. m. at the age of 79 years, 7 months, 29 days. He had been a sufferer of cancer of the stomach for several months but a hemorrhage of the brain hastened his death.

He was married to Miss Louisa Barner Nov. 26, 1876 at Monroe, Wisconsin and to this union nine children were born, tow of which died in infancy. The surviving children are Mrs. Emma Stone of Richmond, Virginia; Mrs. Harold Hogan of Sellersburg, Indiana; Mrs. May Wilkins of Everett, Washington; Mrs. Laura Mullen of Amboy, Minnesota; Mrs. Nora Thurman of Sioux City; James Moser of Chanute, Kansas; and John Moser of Polo, Illinois. He is also survived by his wife, twenty two grand children and a nephew, Henry Crossley of Ames.

Mr. Moser untied with the church of Christ over 40 years ago and remained a faithful member.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church at Sellersburg with the pastor Rev. Boyer officiating. Interment was in the Sellersburg cemetery.
