PIONEER ROLAND WOMAN IS DEAD

MRS. H. T. WILSON, 79, WAS VICTIM OF PARALYSIS--FUNERAL MONDAY

Special to the Journal.
Roland, Jan. 31--Mrs. Henry F. Wilson, 79, died at her home here Thursday afternoon from the effects of a series of paralytic strokes the first having been suffered about two weeks ago

The funeral will be held Monday. There will be a brief service at the home at 1:30 and the funeral proper at Salem church at 2:00 in charge of her pastor, Rev. Holen. Interment will be in the Roland cemetery by the side of her husband who died about ten years ago.

Mrs. Wilson was a pioneer of this community. A native of Norway, she came to America about 40 years ago and had since lived in this part of the state. The family home was in Hamilton county north of here until about 25 years ago when they retired and moved into Roland.

Of the seven children, two are dead. One daughter died in infancy and the son Gus Wilson died about 5 years ago.

The surviving children are Mrs. Isabella Olson, Mrs. T. H. Wicks and Fred Wilson, all of this neighborhood. Andrew Wilson of Hazel, S. D. and Ben Wilson of Madison, S. D.
