Lars Hanson Dead.

Lars Hansen, a well known Danish farmer living just west of town, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 after an illness of about ten days with typhoid fever and pneumonia. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock at Memorial Lutheran church in this city after which interment will take place at the Nevada cemetery. The exercises at the cemetery will be under the auspices of the Masonic order, of which the deceased was member.

Lars Hanson was born in Denmark fifty-five years ago the fourth of the coming July. He came to America about twenty-five years ago and had lived in Story county and near Nevada continuously since. He leaves a wife and couple of nephews who made their homes with him, to mourn his demise. Mr. Hansen was a man of much worth, being industrious, strictly honest and upright in all his dealings and was always a good neighbor and friend. He was of a jovial disposition and always had a pleasant word for an acquaintance or friend. In his death the community loses one of her best citizens.
