Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

LeRoy E. Johnson was born on April 20, 1940 in Story City to Jonas and Irene (Wheeler) Johnson. He lived on the farm west of Story City with his grandparents and in Story City with his mother. The last 10 years he lived at Accura.

LeRoy enjoyed riding his bike around town, volunteering at the Story City American Legion and the Sale Barn. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Sons of the American Legion.
Leroy passed away June 21, 2018 at Accura Healthcare of Ames at the age of 78.

LeRoy is survived by his sister, Janet (Don) Johnson of Ames; a nephew, Terry Sorenson (Cindy); a great nephew, Jason Sorenson and a great niece, Angie Russell.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a niece, Kathy Sorenson-Saldana, aunts, uncles and cousins.
