Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Janice (Luft) Wright, 79, of Ames, passed away May 4, 2018 in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3 at Adams Funeral Home in Ames, with a visitation one hour prior the service.

Janice Elaine Wright was born August 17, 1938 to Gordon and Evelyn (Gadeken) Allen in Tilden, Nebraska. She worked as a LPN at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Janice enjoyed walks at Ada Hayden Heritage Park, crocheting, and reading books.

Janice is survived by her children, Steve (Maria) Luft of Des Moines, Royce (Kevin) Quinn of Colo, Lynda Reid of Maxwell, and Carla (Mark) Peltier of Algonquin, Ill.; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Allen of Tacoma, Wash. and Donald Allen of Norfolk, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family which will fund projects at Ada Hayden Heritage Park and Grandview Heights Care Center in Marshalltown.
