Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Ruth Hennick was born March 7, 1929 to Vaughn and Nan (Hill) Thompson in Hampton, Iowa. Ruth married Paul Hennick in 1947 and to this union three children were born. Ruth was a member of Palestine Lutheran Church and enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and anyone who would stop by to visit.

Ruth passed away at 88 years of age on February 4, 2018 at Windsor Manor in Nevada.

She is survived by her children, Calvin Hennick of Ogden and Paula Lauser of Des Moines; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Bill (Judy) Thompson of Ames, Dick Thompson of Moberly, Mo. and Margaret (EJ) Kuhns of McKinney, Texas.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Paul Hennick, in 2001; and her son, Chuck Hennick, in 2016.
