Marian Carol Lucas
August 8, 1931-December 22, 2017

Ames – Marian Carol Lucas, 86, passed away Friday, 12/22/17. She was born August 8, 1931, in Boyden, Iowa to Herman and Ethel (Pryde) Meester. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Marian is survived by her husband of 67 years, Adrian, daughter Kathy (Pat) Hamm of Jacksonville, FL, son Michael Alan Lucas, Ankeny, IA; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday 12/27/2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Gilbert Lutheran Church (135 School St., Gilbert, IA 50105). Funeral Services will be Thursday 12/28/17 at 10:00am at Gilbert Lutheran Church. Interment will follow services in the Ames Municipal Cemetery, Ames, Iowa.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in living memory of Marian.
