ROLAND, IA. - Alta M. Froh, 89, of Roland, a homemaker, died of a massive stroke Monday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bergen Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery in Havelock. Mrs. Froh was born in Havelock and lived in Fort Dodge from 1945 to 1962 before moving to Roland. Survivors include two sons, Frederick of Duncombe and Lyle of Fort Dodge; a daughter, Elnora Ritland of Roland; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
