From Stevens Memorial Chapel obituary, Ames, Story County, Iowa:

Mary Ann Ose of Roland Iowa and Minnetonka Minnesota went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2017. She died at home surrounded by loving family in her final days.

Mary Ann was born in Luverne, Minnesota on December 22, 1930; one of nine children of Rev. Martin and Emma Hauser. After graduating from the University of Minnesota she taught school in Duluth, Minnesota until she moved to Chicago, Illinois. Here she met her husband Odale J. Ose. They were married in Elgin, Illinois, lived briefly there until moving to Overland Park Kansas. Mary Ann and Odale raised their three children, Carol, Kevin and David Ose, in Overland Park and they lived there until her husband retired, when they moved near Odale's family farm in Roland Iowa in 2003. After Odale's passing in 2009 Mary Ann stayed in Roland until she moved to Minnetonka, Minnesota because of declining health in 2016 to be near family.

Mary Ann loved reading, watching Kansas University basketball on television, and spending time with those who care so much for her. She had a lovely sense of humor and positive attitude even in hard times.

Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Lois Panning of Chicago, IL, her daughter Carol (David) Ose -Diehl of Hope, NJ, her son Kevin (Marijo) Ose of Eden Prairie, MN, daughter-in-law Amy (David) Ose and seven grandchildren (Tim Ose, Ben Ose, John Ose, Jeremy Diehl, Grace Ose, Katie Ose, Mia Diehl). She will be greatly missed but we rejoice in knowing she is with her Savior in heaven.
