Joseph Dixon, pioneer resident of Ames, died last Friday morning. He was 85 years of age. The remains were shipped to Ogden where funeral services and burial will be held. He leaves two daughters at Ames, Mrs. T. J. Wilcox and Mrs. I. N. Dixon.
