OBITUARY

Death of F. J. Baumgardner

Frank J. Baumgardner*, one of the oldest and best know citizens of Warren township died at his hoe there about four o'clock this morning. Details are lacking and the news of his death occasions much surprise. He was between seventy and seventy-five years of age, and he had lived on his farm near what is now McCallsburg for nearly forty years and since there were not more than half a dozen families in the township. He had seen the country grow up about him and had contributed his full share toward its development. He was a man of worth and character and he will be much missed in his community.
