Samuel R. Davis a veteran of the Civil War, died of heart disease at Richwood, Ohio and the remains arrived at Zearing on Monday. He had been visiting relatives in Richwood and was expected home in a few days when the telegram came announcing his sudden end. He leaves his second wife and eight children to mourn his loss.
