Word is received of the death of E. M. Wilkinson, who in the '80s conducted successfully the Hutchins house in this city, and was afterwards proprietor of the Windsor hotel in Marshalltown. He had several children who were also well and favorably known here in their time. His death occurred on Saturday, August 23, at the soldiers home in Dodge City, Kansas. His home has in later years been at Hutchinson in that state. The word comes from the Odd Fellows lodge at Dodge City to the local lodge, he having still retained his lodge membership here.
