CATHERINE BARBOUR.

Miss Catherine Barbour died Saturday at the hone of her brothers and herself in this city, having been for several months in failing health. She was born near Londonderry, Ireland in the year 1836 and died in Nevada on Mar. 1st 1913. She came with her sisters, Sarah J. and Matilda to Pittsburg, Pa. in 1876, and lived with her brother David there till 1882, when they moved to the farm in Richland township, Story County, Iowa there they lived till Jan. 1909 when the family to Nevada which continued to be her home until her death.

The funeral was conducted from the home this morning by Rev. Leitch, pastor of the Presbyterian church, and the interment is in the cemetery at Johnson's Grove. Miss Barbour was a lady very much admired by those who knew her, and her death is much regretted.
