TWO MORE DEATHS SINCE FRIDAY

LOUIS BOSTON AND CHESTER HARRISON HAVE DIED SINCE LAST REPORT

Pneumonia has claimed two more young men in the community since our last issue, Louis Boston, who lived on the west side of Lynn street, corner First avenue south, and Chester Harrison, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Harrison of near Shipley having accounted to the dreaded disease. The Boston funeral was conducted yesterday and that of Harrison was held this afternoon.

Louis Boston Called.

Louis Boston died at the family home on Lynn street Friday afternoon at 3:30 and was interred in the cemetery at McCallsburg Sunday afternoon at 2:00, according to the ritualistic services of the Masonic order, in which he had taken seven degrees. An escort from the Nevada Masonic lodge, accompanied the body and funeral party to McCallsburg and had charge of the interment. There were short services held at the home in this city previous to the starting for McCallsburg, those services, which consisted of prayer being by Rev. C. C. Root of the Church of Christ.

Boston had been a sufferer from influenza for over three weeks during the past couple of weeks of which pneumonia had developed and his condition was realized as serious and alarming.

Louis Emery Boston, who had lived in Nevada for a couple of years during which time he had served as section foreman on the Rock Island, was a native of the county having been born at McCallsburg on January 21, 1893, a son of Hugh and Patience Boston. The father died about eight years ago and since that time the young man had been the main staff upon which the mother leaned for care and support.

The family continued to live in McCallsburg until about two years ago when his work called him to Nevada and this had since been the home. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his mother, sisters and one brother. The sisters are Mrs. M. R. Sherwood of David City, Neb., Mrs. Gladys Olson who makes her home here, and Misses Mary and Ella Boston and the brother is Ralph Boston. One brother Harry Raymond died in infancy.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood were here from Nebraska and all of the members of the family were with him at the end. He had all the care that was possible and everything was done that could be done for him but without avail.

He was converted to Christ and baptized in the Evangelical church at Fernald in 1912 and was always a consistent christian young man. During his last days he clung to the faith and was consistent in his prayers.

Those who were best acquainted with Boston all assert that he was an exceptionally fine young man. He was honest, industrious, ambitious and was greatly devoted to his mother and the other members of his family. His untimely death is a matter of deep regret to all friends and the mother and brothers and sisters will receive the deepest sympathy of all in their hours of bereavement.
