Jessie Mason-Pool Died Wednesday Night

Mrs. Jessie Mason-Pool died at the home of father, J. C. Mason in the northeast part of the city Wednesday evening at 7:30 after an illness of several days from influenza and pneumonia. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:00 from the home after which there will be prayer at the grave and interment in the Nevada cemetery.

The deceased was born in Grant township southwest of this city, on January 2, 1883 and died as stated in Nevada on December 4, 1918, age 35 years, 11 months and 2 days. She was united in marriage to J. Robert Pool, October 17 1900, and to them three daughters were born they being Irene, Vivian Grace and Bonnie Ruth. For the past several years Mrs. Pool and the youngest daughter, Bonnie Ruth, had made their home with Mr. Mason and her death comes as a sad blow indeed to the aged father and her young daughter. Although she had been an invalid much of the time during the past dozen or more years, her presence in the home had been a source of cheer to the father and child.

The many friends of the family will extend their most sincere sympathy to the father and little daughter and will give all aid possible to them in their hour of sadness and bereavement.
