McCALLSBURG

Tuesday at noon occurred the death of Mrs. Mathias Haukoos northwest of town. She was over 70 years old, and has suffered much lately, so death for her was a welcome guest. She was buried Thursday from the East Bergen church, Rev. Smedal officiating. She leaves a married daughter Mrs. Laurett Helland.

Mrs. Mathias Haukoos passed away from the family home 8 miles northeast of town September 10th after a long illness, aged 77 years. Rev. Smedal conducted funeral service at East Bergen church and interment was in the cemetery nearby.
