CAMBRIDGE
Death of Mr. Heileman.
Passed away at the home of his daughter in Cambridge last Wednesday afternoon about four o'clock Frederick Heileman, aged about seventy-two years. The deceased had lived for a number of years on a farm east of town and this winter had decided to retire and move with his aged wife to Cambridge which he did about two weeks prior to his passing away. The deceased had made many friends in this community by his genial and obliging disposition. He was a veteran of the Civil War. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church Friday afternoon conducted by the pastor, Rev. Victor West, after which the remains were taken to Center Grove cemetery and laid to rest. Services at the grave were conducted by Ersland post G. A. R. of which he was an honored member. A large number of friends sympathize with the bereaved ones in their home of sore affliction. One by one they are passing away, one by one the grain reaper is calling them hour. Another had answered "here" to the last roll call on earth. The Lord has taken him home.
Rest weary soldier, they warfare is o'er.
"Well done, good and faithful servant enter thou into joy of they Lord."
