CAMBRIDGE

Died Tuesday morning the infant of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bates. The little one was sick but a short time. The funeral services were held in the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon conducted by the pastor Rev. Shevland.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Story County death records show Sterling Bates was born 3 November 1906 in Iowa and died 21 January 1907 in Cambridge, Story County, Iowa. He was the son of Sam Bates and Jane Ersland.
