From Nevada Representative July 2, 1906
Henry Halleland of Story City died at his home there Sunday after a very brief illness, although he had for a long time been in indifferent health. He was formerly one of the editors of the Vissergutten, and he was a man well known over the country and kindly regarded by those who knew him. He was about forty-five years of age, and he leaves a widow and four or five children in poor circumstances. He suffered in childhood an injury which crippled and handicapped him and which always entitled him to the sympathy of others. Had it not been for this handicap, it is very probable that he would have achieved in the world greater success than was possible for him under the circumstances.
