Ronald G. Kline, 90, of Nevada, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Story County Senior Care in Nevada.

Ron was born July 20, 1926, the son of William and Mildred (Myers) Kline. He worked as farmer in his early years and retired from Century Link. Ron was very handy and enjoyed tinkering and remodeling.

Ron is survived by his son, Bruce Kline of Ames; his daughter, Susan Taylor of Ames; his brothers: Lloyd Kline of Nevada and Wayne Kline of South Carolina; his grandchildren: Jennifer Keltner, Leonard Keltner and Douglas Keltner; his great-grandchildren: Sierra, Matthew, Robby, Olivia and Katelyn; and a great-great grandson, Patrick. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, John Kline; his daughter, Cindy Kline; his sister, Helen Myers; and a brother, Merle Kline.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Inurnment of cremated remains will be at a later date at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery in Nevada.

Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
