Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

David Kevin Haines was born July 7, 1966 to Jerry and LaVone (Bendixen) Haines in Iowa City, Iowa. After graduating high school, David worked in maintenance at DMACC. David was a sports fan and his teams were the Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Vikings, New York Yankees, anything Iowa State University, and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling.

David passed away March 25, 2017 at 50 years of age.

David is survived by his son, Austin Brawdy of Des Moines; his father, Jerry Haines of Ames; his brother, Robert Haines of Cudahy, Wisc.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and his sister, Mary Jo.

The family requests no flowers.
