Mr. Frank Pleshek of Chelsea, Iowa, was hit by a train sometime Wednesday evening last and discovered sometime later in a dying condition beside the track. Just how the accident occurred no one seems to know, or is able to state the probable manner, as Mr. Pleshek was one of the long time careful and faithful track men of the Northwestern. His son, Charles Pleshek, who is night operator at this station was promptly notified and left at once for Chelsea. His father died soon after his arrival. Operator Pleshek has not yet returned.
