Former Nevada Man Murdered at Union

Linn Trimble, who formerly lived on what was then the McCoy farm and is now the Burgess farm north of Nevada, was murdered by a hold-up man Saturday night at Union in Hardin county. He was keeping a restaurant there, and the concern was heldup by two men. Trimble gave up without disposition what was in sight and was reaching for more when it is supposed that one of the men thought he was reaching for a gun and so shot him and killed him. The man escaped; but a man answering to his description was later arrested at Ackley. Trimble leaves a wife and son.
