The funeral of Peter Boyd was held at Trinity church Friday afternoon conducted by the pastor, Rev. Holman. The attendance was unusually large. The deceased has been afflicted from early childhood and with the passing of years the ailment became more severe and aggravating, and about a year ago he was taken to Clarinda for treatment. During all these days of affliction he received the kindest of treatment by a loving father, mother, brothers and sisters, who hoped that he might be restored to health, but all was in vain, and he passes from us, after reaching the age of 36 years.
