SLATER

John Norman, living two miles west of Slater, died suddenly Monday of heart disease. He was a native of Norway, came to this country 21 years ago, was 62 years of age, and well respected.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: John Norman's death record states he was born in Sweden 30 January 1846 and died 31 August 1908 in Garden Township, Boone County, Iowa. He is listed as the son of Ole and Sarah Olson.
