OBITUARY

DEATH OF S. N. MITCHELL

Mr. S. N. Mitchell, long a well and favorably known resident of this county, died Thursday at the state hospital at Clarinda, where he was sent last February and had been under treatment since. His body is expected here this evening and the funeral will be held Saturday at eleven o'clock at the church in Iowa Center. Mr. Mitchell came to Story county immediately after the war, and he had resided in the county ever since. For many years he and his family lived near Iowa Center but for some time they had been living in Nevada. Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife and six children, all grown.
