Death of Eli Shugart

Eli Shugart of Council Bluffs, brother of Z. Shugart, now of Ottawa, Kansas, and of the later G. W. Shugart of this city, died Thursday or Friday in Kansas and his funeral was held Sunday at Council Bluffs. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Shugart went to Council Bluffs for the funeral, and have gone from there to Princeton, Illinois, where the interment will take place. Mr. Shugart was a man of much wealth and prominence at Council Bluffs and had become well and favorably known in this community by reason of his frequent visits here to his brothers. His death is noted with very great regret.
