Death of Abram Torgeson

Abram Torgeson died Tuesday the 19th, at this home northwest of Slater and his funeral is held in the neighboring church today. His age was fifty-four years. He had been in poor health for some time, but was at Slater last Friday. A relapse occurred Sunday night and the close came Tuesday as stated. Mr. Torgeson was a native of Norway, came to this country with his parents when a youth and became a successful farmer. His wife and nine children survive him, and many others mourn his loss.
