Robert Dale Crouch was born on July 12, 1930 in Carpenter, Illinois to Machie and Susan (Wilder) Crouch. He married Donna Maxine Metcalf on June 30, 1951. She died November 12, 2006. Bob was a Computer Programmer for Sunstrand (Sauer-Danfoss) for many years. He was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, traveling golfing, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.

Bob passed away February 21, 2017 at Eldora Specialty Care in Eldora at the age of 86.

Bob is survived by a daughter, Pamela (Don) Henderson of Zearing; three sons, Robert, Jr. (Norma) Crouch of Little Rock, S.C., Jim (Cindy) Crouch of Ankeny and Tim (Amy) Crouch of Story City; a son-in-law, Craig Rasmusson of Roland; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Janet Piper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna; two daughters, Diana Rasmusson and Sarah Crouch; a son, Richard; three brothers, Herman, Bill and Charlie; and four sisters, Kate, Carol, Irene and Goldie.

Memorials may be made to Crossroad Baptist Church.
