Noah Robinson Killed

Noah Robinson, a young man born and raised in Nevada, was accidentally killed Saturday afternoon on the old Col. Scott farm now occupied by Mr. Schaudt in Nevada township. The accident was in the upsetting of a team and load of corn in a gully on the farm. No one saw the accident; but Robinson had been after a load of corn from a crib distant from the house, and on his return he had to cross a bridge over a deep gully. After a time someone went over there, and the whole outfit were in the gully. Help was secured, and the team pulled out--one of the horses, however, being so nearly drowned that it died soon after-- and under the team was found the man. He was a victim of epilepsy, and there is a theory that he may have had a fit on the wagon, and that such was the occasion of the team getting the wagon off the bridge. At any rate he was dead when found. He was something over thirty years of age and unmarried. He will be buried this afternoon at the Mullen Settlement, the Odd Fellows from Colo having charge.
