From Nevada Representative April 1, 1908
Anna Flattebo, a sixteen-year-old girl at Roland, died Monday from injuries, resulting from her clothing catching fire on Saturday evening. She got afire while starting the kitchen fire for supper, rushed into the open air and was terribly burned before the fire could be smothered. She received all possible attention; but her injuries were too serious for curing. The case is an exceedingly sad one, and much sympathy will be felt. Miss Flattebo's home is at Story City; but she was temporarily at Roland with the family of M. O. Anderson.
