Mr. and Mrs. John Townsend were called to Oskaloosa last week by the tragic death of his daughter and son-in-law. The latter having shot his wife and attempted to kill their two year old child, he then turned the weapon on himself. It is to be regretted that such fiends could not begin where they left off.
