The oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Thornton, aged 12 years died of pneumonia Friday. The remains were laid to rest in the Colo cemetery Sunday. The funeral services were held in the Evangelical church by Rev. Ramige. It is a sad bereavement to the family as he was great help, Mr. and Mrs. Thornton being in poor health. The community extend their sympathy.
