Death of Miss Hannay

Miss Jennet Hannay, a long time resident of Gilbert died Monday, Nov. 7 at Keithsburg, Ill., after a brief illness. Her age was 82 years and 16 days. She was a native of Nova Scotia and after the marriage of her sister to John A. McFarlan the McFarlan home became her home and so continued during the long period of its existence at Gilbert. When C. P. McFarlan and family after the death of his father removed nearly four years ago the Keithsburg, Miss Hannay went with them, and amid their kind care she passed away. Mr. and Mrs. McFarlan brought the remains back to Gilbert Thursday and interred them beside the dust of her kindred.
