STATE CENTER PIONEER DEAD

Louis Frohwein, one of the pioneer settlers of Marshall county and an old resident and merchant of State Center, died at his home there October 18 of ailments due to old age. Mr. Frohwein had been in failing health for some time. He was a German by birth, came to America in 1854, to Marshall county in 1857, and was one of the founders of the French Grove Lutheran church located near his home north of State Center. The funeral is held today.
