Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Elston* lost a baby boy Saturday afternoon, it having lived only about half an hour. Mrs. Elston for a couple of days afterwards was in a very serious condition, and Monday it was regarded as critical; but a turn for the better came late Monday afternoon, and the improvement continued through the night and this morning, so that it is now believed that she will progress satisfactorily.
