Died at Santa Clara

Miss Grace Lillian Shaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel W. Shaw, died at the Sanitarium in Santa Clara, California, May 25th. She was a trained nurse by profession and 11 weeks before contracted typhoid fever from a patient who she was attending. She was a native of Colo, Ia., and was in her 25th year. She went to Santa Clara with her parents five years ago and highly esteemed, her ability as a nurse was widely known, and her death is deeply regretted by all who knew her.
