Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Sharron Darlene Kuhns was born December 24, 1935 to Charles and June (Schwab) Holder in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She married Russell Kuhns on June 2, 1956. He passed away in 1988.

Sharron was a member of the Elks Lodge in Creston and Salem Lutheran Church in Creston. She had resided the last four years at Bethany Manor in Story City.

Sharron passed away January 5, 2017 at Bethany Manor at the age of 81.

Sharron is survived by her daughter, Deb (Don) Hinderaker of Story City; her son, Jason (Rikki) Kuhns of Adel; her daughter-in-law, Denise Kuhns of Belton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Allyson (Chris) Wohford, Anthony Kuhns, Aaron Kuhns, Alex Kuhns, Erik (Amy Vanscoy) Witt, Thad (Shelly Young) Witt, Cody (Nikki Sharaff) Witt, Jamie (Michael) Nordeen, Sierra (Ryan) England and Shyanne Kuhns; her great grandchildren, Shane Houston, Aden Kuhns, Kaydence Kuhns, Gordon (McKayla) Witt, Kadon Angell, Jaesa Angell, Karlee Lykins-Witt, Teller Witt, Tucker Egland and Sawyer England and a niece, Lisa (Scott) Statham.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell; her son, George Kuhns; her stepfather, Bill Vaughn; and her sister, Mary Weeter.

Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Creston at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Life Communities.
