Johannes Twedt, the youngest brother of Jos. H., Sam, Andrew and Henry Twedt, died at his home northeast of Roland last Thursday of appendicitis. he was sick only a few days, his condition becoming so alarming that an operation was made necessary on Wednesday. For a time after the operation he rallied and hope was entertained for his recovery, but he grew worse on Thursday and passed away. The death of this young man takes from us an upright and just citizen, a young man noted for his industry and right living. Aside from his mother and brothers, he leaves a wife and child, to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father. The funeral was held at Bergens church Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Smedal.
