ROLAND ROCKETS

The remains of A. P. Doolittle were brought last week of the home of mother here in Roland, where funeral services were held, conducted by Rev. Smedal. He had been taking treatment in the hospital at Clarinda for a long while and his recovery seemed assured and that he would be able to return home this spring. Under these circumstances his death was sad surprise to relatives and friends. A large delegation of friends from his home south of Story City were present at the funeral. The remains were laid to rest in the Sheffield cemetery. Profound sympathy goes out to the mother, brothers and sisters.
